Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

Where is my data stored
Your personal data is always encrypted when being sent between our systems, this is shown by the lock icon in your web browser when booking online. Where possible your personal data is also encrypted at rest. Where we are storing information about you on physical media i.e. registration card, this is stored securely and access restricted to only those who need it to administer your stay.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

WHEN MAKING AN ENQUIRY WITH US OR WHEN USING OUR WEBSITE

When you make an enquiry or booking by our website. We collect these details to enter into a contract with you, or to perform the contract in place between us and to contact you when necessary.

When you provide us with your preference to receive news updates from us. When we send you our news updates because you have opted-in to receive them, we rely on your consent to contact you.

WHEN YOU VISIT US

Types of data we collect: Name, email address, telephone number, allergies (inc. dietary requirements), preferences and interests you mention to us, payment details and postal address

When you arrive at our hotels to check-in into your room or when you book/ arrive at one of our restaurants. We collect these details to enter a contract with you, or to perform the contract in place between us and to contact you when necessary and to ensure the vital interests of our guests (health).

When you check into our premises with a vehicle we may ask for you registration. We collect these details for security purposes.

Guests Questionnaire
In your room you will find guest questionnaire to be completed at the end of your stay with us, if you choose. We use this feedback to provided additional training to the team, if required, and may use your comments on our online presence (including Facebook and website) for marketing purposes.
